Qmee are a start-up brand founded in 2010, providing a service that rewards users for their day-to-day search engine use. These rewards can be redeemed online or donated to a selection of partnered charities. The KPI for them was a significant increase in user acquisition, so they were looking for a social media management agency to drive awareness of their brand. They wanted myclever to manage their Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and blog, with a goal of breaking into the US market.

Our strategy has been to bring new users to the Qmee site through their social media platforms by producing engaging content and themed infographics that breed conversation through consistent interaction. We monitored their social media channels and worked closely with Qmee’s customer service team to ensure their brand maintained a positive position in the conversations of their fans. By creating lead discussions for topics around money-saving tips & advice, we gained organic traction across Qmee’s social presence. We ran informative campaigns quarterly to increase brand awareness via Qmee’s mascot, Oinq, creating brand advocacy. All content led through to Qmee’s website, creating warm leads who could be re-targeted after their initial engagement with the brand.

Thanks to myclever, Qmee now has 100,000 users. We’ve built up the brand’s social media presence from next-to-nothing, to where they are now; almost 4,000 Facebook fans and nearly 2,000 Twitter followers. In August alone, Qmee acquired 1,000 new followers. There were 207,000 global search results generated in Google that featured one of our infographics, while they experienced a 500% growth in new customers. Overall, myclever were able to aid Qmee achieve their goals.
